MEMORIAL DAY DEDICATION EVENT: Friday, May 25, 2018

AMERICAN FLAG & VETERAN'S SIGN DEDICATION
Remembering those who have fallen. Thanking those who have served.  

Join the City of Canfield, American Legion Post 177 and other community members for a special ceremony on  5/25/18 @ 1:30 PM at Canfield City Hall.

This will be a Duel Dedication Event:            

1) US Representative Bill Johnson’s office will present the Canfield Chapter of the United States Daughters of 1812 with a Flag flown over the US Capital

2) City of Canfield will dedicate a “Veteran Only” Parking Space sponsored by the American Legion Post 177.

COMMUNITY AWARENESS MEETING: CANFIELD HIGH SCHOOL 4/17/18 @ 6:00 PM

There will be a community awareness meeting on Tuesday, April 17th at 6:00 PM at the Canfield HS cafeteria.

CLSD Superintendent Alex Geordan, Canfield City Manager Wade Calhoun, Canfield PD Chief Chuck Colucci, and CJFD Chief Don Hutchison will be attending and available to speak directly with the audience to share ideas, answer questions, and address concerns regarding the safety and security of the district.

We look forward to your attendance.

BRUSH PICK UP 2018

Resident's may place brush at the curb for pick-up by the City's contractor, Hackett's Tree Service.

Brush will be picked up according to the following schedule:

Week of April 29th- Northeast Quadrant 1
Week of May 6th- Southeast Quadrant 2
Week of May 13th-Southwest Quadrant 3
Week of May 20th-Northwest Quadrant 4




Brush should be cut in lengths not to exceed 10 feet        
Diameter of branches shall not exceed 3 inches
No roots of any type or size
This is not a continuing program.  Once the City's contractor passes your house, they will not be back. 
Resident's should have brush at the street on Sunday evening for pick up starting Monday morning.

CITY OFFICES CLOSED: FRIDAY, MARCH 30, 2018 IN OBSERVANCE OF GOOD FRIDAY

City Offices will be closed on Friday, March 30, 2018 in observance of the Good Friday Holiday.  City offices will re-open on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Arbor Day is Friday, April 27, 2018

The City of Canfield celebrates each Arbor Day at a school in Canfield.  This year, the program will be held at Hilltop Elementary School with the Mayor reading a proclamation.

Arbor Day is a national holiday created to recognize the importance of trees.  It is celebrated every year on the last Friday in April.  The most common way people celebrate is to get together in groups to plant trees. Consider planting a tree to celebrate Arbor Day!

Canfield City Council Meeting-Date Change
