Canfield Local Schools Walk Out

posted Mar 13, 2018, 9:51 AM by Dominic Rozzo

There has been significant discussion regarding the school walk out on Wednesday, March 14th at 10am.  The Canfield Police Department has investigated every concern and potential threat that has been reported to us regarding the walk out tomorrow.  The results of our criminal investigations have revealed no credible threat for tomorrow and beyond.  Due to the increased concern regarding the safety of our children, the Canfield Police Department will have additional police officers in the High School, Middle School and Elementary schools in an attempt to reduce the community’s fear of danger.   It is encouraged to explain to our children why additional police will be in the schools tomorrow.  Communication between the community and police department is critical.  Please contact CPD with any concerns by calling 330-533-4903.
